Associate Attorney – Business Transactions

Meissner, Joseph, Palley & Ruggles, Inc. (“MJPR”) is looking for a full-time associate business transactions attorney to join our team!  This candidate will represent clients in real estate and business matters including planning, restructuring, purchase and sale agreements, etc.

We expect our attorneys to take ownership of their cases and work product and actively work to build their referral sources through networking and marketing of their choosing.

Education/Experience:

Must be a licensed attorney in the state of California with at least 5 years’ experience in business law and have a solid reputation in the legal community.

Associate Attorney – Estate Planning

Meissner, Joseph, Palley & Ruggles, Inc. (“MJPR”) is looking for a full-time associate estate planning attorney to join our team!

We are committed to high-quality service to our clients and the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent client communication skills, organization skills and a strong work ethic. We expect our attorneys to take ownership of their cases and work product and actively work to build their referral sources through networking and marketing of their choosing.

We would like the potential candidate to have a willingness to handle trust administration and probate court matters and some advanced estate planning education and/or experience for irrevocable trusts and family businesses.

Responsibilities:

Meet with prospective and existing clients to provide estate planning recommendations.

Draft the applicable documents and see the process through signing.

Work closely with assistant/paralegal team to ensure clients’ needs are met, including ensuring timely communication.

Education/Experience:

Must be a licensed attorney in the state of California with at least 5 years’ experience in Estate Planning and/or Trust Administration and have a solid reputation in the legal community.

Working knowledge of Wealth Counsel preferred.
